PianoFestive is a Philadelphia-based music organization aiming to make classical music more accessible…and unexpected. Classical music is deeply ingrained in academia and history, so opportunities to engage with music intellectually abound. But we believe we can help expand classical music’s audience by engaging with music for the sole purposes of creating joy and community. Unconventional, come-as-you-are concert styles and playful themes allow us to cultivate unique musical experiences that evoke intrigue, surprise, and child-like joy. Each of our concert series is completely different in format, repertoire, and atmosphere, so there’s something new to experience for long-time concertgoers and new audience members alike.
